The Project Judaica Foundation is pleased to present a fascinating exhibition about how the Danish people saved their Jewish population in October of 1943. This exhibition has been created by our colleagues in Denmark, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, the Foreign Ministry and university historians, to be widely accessible in varied venues to be mounted in many different ways from simple and direct wall mountings to easels to more elaborate methods according to your own local desires and capabilities. We did this intentionally to allow the widest access to the largest number of viewers fourth grade classrooms upward, to synagogues and temples, churches, and mosques, through civic and social groups all at the most reasonable costs we could manage. This story is so important we believe it must be widely disseminated and this means will allow us to do just that.

How is it, under the greatest duress imaginable, an entire country is able to marshal its forces, under the leadership of its royal family, to assure that all available Jewish citizens were ferried across to neighboring Sweden in the middle of the night with the widespread cooperation of local fisherman, housewives and children as the Gestapo were to have begun their round-up of the Jewish population for deportation to the concentration camps? Your audience will want to know and once they do, will remember the lessons well for a long time to come.

The thirty six poster-sized panels tell this remarkable story in careful and accurately written texts and illustrations which have absorbed each visitor as it has traveled from the U. S. Capitol where it opened to a record crowd of half of the U. S. Senate and House of Representatives and their staffs and dozens of embassies and their staffs, to a number of universities and colleges.

Now, we wish to offer the same opportunity to host this exhibition in the actual 60th anniversary year of this historic event to any site willing to host and care for this easily mountable exhibition.

As a part of the design concept all thirty-six panels arrive in a sturdy shipping tube which costs very little to ship from one venue to another. The fee for this exhibition is $250 per site for a one month to six week stay plus shipping round trip to the Foundation here in Washington, D. C. unless, of course, it is to be shipped to the next venue which will then cost your venue only one way transportation by UPS/FEDEX/USPS 3 day delivery. The average shipping cost appears to be around $40 one way.

We have four complete sets of this exhibition now available to begin to be booked as we expect there will a great deal of demand to host this exhibition. We already know that lessons taught are so profound and well articulated visually in this exhibition that there are usually many repeat visitors.

Please book this exhibition at your earliest possible convenience to lock in the best days for your own venue. You will need to access the contract and sign it and email it back to this foundation You can charge the fees involved using your major credit card on this Foundation’s web site to make the entire effort easy and stress less and move the process along well and easily through this system.

We look forward to working with you on this important exhibition to make your own community can benefit from being a host. Email us with any questions you may have at info@judaica.org,

Sincerely,
